Our Vision:

Global Good Impact envisions a world where individuals have the skills, confidence and network to tackle the world’s most significant challenges. We give people tools to help people do just that – affect the change in their communities that they want to tackle. We offer educational workshops and trainings, networking events and help people and organizations initiate the important community projects they’ve wanting to do and make a difference, so they are no longer talking about it, they are doing it!

We also serve as project managers to assist organizations to put on large-scale community building projects to build community around their causes.

Rachel Wylie, Program Coordinator

Rachel Wylie is passionate about building nourishing communities, living in alignment with the planet, and walking through life with compassion and humor. She graduated from the University of California Davis in 2014, with a B.S. in Community & Regional Development. For several years she explored her interest in local food by working at farmers markets and on farms in Santa Cruz, CA. She served as the Right-Hand & Operations Manager for a organic farm-direct popsicle business, where she earned the unofficial title Jill-of-all-Trades for her talent at working in all aspects of the business.

She is also a graduate of HoneyRoot’s School of Embodied Leadership, a 6-month program teaching transformative techniques and practices. She carries this experience into her coaching and event coordination, showing up with compassion, patience, and deep wells of enthusiasm. Rachel helped coordinate the first Carpinteria Open Streets in April 2016, and enthusiastically joined the Global Good Impact team shortly afterwards.

She spends her free time walking the beach picking up trash, soaking up the sunshine, surfing, hiking, gardening, reading, and dabbling in creative projects. She still sometimes dreams of popsicles.
