Robin Elander

Founder & Director

Robin is the Founder and Director at Global Good Impact Consulting, an organization dedicated to building stronger, healthier and empowered individuals and communities worldwide.

Robin and her team specialize in equipping individuals and organizations with the skills, tools, and confidence needed to bring their ideas into the world. She is skilled in the art of creating campaigns around causes and large-scale project management.

Robin has 20 years of experience coaching change makers, managing community building projects, and leading interactive, empowerment workshops for youth and adults. She specializes in helping people and organizations build new programs and bringing them to scale.

 

Rachel Wylie

Contributing Writer

Rachel graduated from the University of California Davis in 2014, with a B.S. in Community & Regional Development. For several years she explored her interest in local food in Santa Cruz, working at farmers markets and as the Operations Manager for an organic farm-direct popsicle business. She is also a graduate of Honeyroot’s School of Embodied Leadership, a 6-month program teaching transformative techniques and practices. After serendipitously meeting Robin, Rachel helped coordinate the first Carpinteria Open Streets and enthusiastically joined the Global Good Impact time shortly afterwards.

Rachel spends her free time walking the beach, picking up trash, soaking up the sunshine, surfing, hiking, gardening, reading, and camping in beautiful places. She is a story-teller and a dreamer, and believes in spending ample time in the moonlight and under the stars.

SHAELYN MCHUGH

Special Projects Assistant

Shaelyn supports Global Good Impact with projects such as the Santa Barbara Timeline Mosaic, events such as, Summer Solstice Celebration, the Soul Success Summit as well as assists with social media and marketing and more. She is also an editor of the World Business Academy newsletter and assists with a local radio show.

ROB ROBINSON

Robinson has spent much of his life analyzing data from dozens of national and international organizations. He is an expert at painting the big picture by recognizing patterns and connecting dots for CEOs and aspiring leaders. Robinson’s innovative strategies are supporting and empowering individuals and organizations to transform the way they see the world. Rob is a transformational coach offering one on one and group coaching via our transformational retreats and is a data project manager.  Rob also works with veterans through the F-stop warrior photography project in collaboration with Santa Barbara City College. 

Alisa Wilcox

Alisa Wilcox of AlisaWilcox.com is an online systems strategist.

Alisa and Global Good Impact Founder Robin Elander have co-created Project Impact, a business boot camp and retreat for female entrepreneurs.

 

DAVID GERSHON

David Gershon, co-founder and CEO of Empowerment Institute has been called “the number one expert on social change.” He applies his visionary leadership and social change expertise to designing second order change solutions for cities, countries and the planet that enable the seemingly impossible to become possible. Over the past four decades the initiatives he’s designed have won many awards and achieved much recognition. Robin Elander and Global Good Impact are collaborating with David Gershon on a Cool Block Initiative at UCSB with the goal of empowering students and neighbors on their own blocks to solve the climate crisis, become more disaster resilient and community rich.

Whitney Webb

 

Whitney Webb is the co-founder of Launch Generation, an organization striving to develop self-sufficiency, confidence, and grit in the next generation of leaders. Whitney has created and ran educational programing throughout the US and abroad with a focus on global awareness, international economics, socially responsible investing, and due diligence on non profits.

FUND FOR SANTA BARBARA

 

The Fund for Santa Barbara is a non-profit community foundation that supports grassroots organizations working for social, economic, environmental and political change in Santa Barbara County.

Betsy Gallery 


Betsy Gallery is a Santa Barbara-based mosaic artist who initiated the concept of the Santa Barbara Timeline Mosaic. GGI is working with her to find a project site and manage the administrative elements and outreach of this community project.

 

SUMMER SOLSTICE CELEBRATION

Summer Solstice Celebration is a 501 c 3 organization that organizes on the Summer Solstice annual parade and festival.

Kent Epperson

 

Kent Epperson is the director of Traffic Solutions. He is highly active in various non-profit advocacy groups promoting alternative modes of transportation. We work with Kent and Traffic Solutions to coordinate Open Streets throughout Santa Barbara County.
